Why the name

In astronomy, the apogee is the point where an orbit reaches its farthest, highest point. We chose the name because we believe every leader has that point in them.

Our work is helping leaders reach their highest potential, so they can move their organizations and companies to the next level. Not just for a moment, but in a way that lasts.

Why we exist

We've been in the trenches. We know what it looks like when an organization is trying to build and grow without the back-end support it needs: the budget that lives in one person's head, the system nobody had time to set up right, the leader answering emails at midnight because there's no one else to do it.

We know firsthand what it takes to succeed. Great missions rarely stall because people lack heart. They stall because the operations underneath were never built to carry the weight.

That story is getting more common, not less. Picture ten nonprofit CEOs around a table. This year, nearly five of them say burnout is a serious concern, up from about three just a year ago. Seven are serving more people than before, and three have had to cut staff. More need, fewer hands, tired leaders.

That's why Apogee exists. Strong operations, clear strategy, and steady leadership are what turn a hard season into the next level.

Where AI fits

AI is already in the building. Walk into ten nonprofit offices and nine are using it. But fewer than one has built it into its goals, budget, and strategy, and nearly half have no written rules for how staff should use it, even with donor and client data.

That gap is where we come in. We help organizations harness the power of AI with real strategy and governance behind it, so it frees up their people, protects the trust they've earned, and moves the mission forward instead of adding new risk.

Who we serve

We partner with mission-driven organizations across the nonprofit, education, and purpose-led tech sectors, and with the leaders who carry them.

We built Apogee for you if:

  • Your organization is growing faster than the systems behind it

  • AI is showing up in your work before your strategy and policies have

  • Your leaders are carrying more than any one person should

  • You're ready to build the back end that lets your mission reach its next level

A rocket launches into the sky, leaving a trail of smoke and fiery exhaust, with a clear blue sky and water below.

Our Story

An apogee is the highest point in an orbit, the place where something reaches its full height. I believe every leader has a zenith worth reaching, and most of them are closer than they think.

They just need the right structure, a clear plan, and someone in their corner.
